Jennifer L. Adams is a practicing psychologist who provides psychological testing, psychotherapy and consultation services across the life span including preschool, school-age, adolescence, adults and active seniors. Dr Adams works with a variety of academic, learning and behavioral problems of childhood including ADHD, learning disabilities and processing disorders; developmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorders; anxiety, depression, mood and trauma-related disorders, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, work-related difficulties and personality disorders. She believes that psychological health and physical health are connected. Dr. Adams works collaboratively with various medical providers in the area to enhance mental health and physical health outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Adams was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. She received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has practiced Psychology in Pennsylvania and Hawaii in a variety of settings including a mental health clinic, several school-based mental health clinics, a boarding school health clinic, and in private practice.

Candice is a Licensed Psychological Technician who has worked in the mental health field since 2003. She specializes in Psycho-educational testing administration for people of all ages, as well as psychotherapy to children and adolescents experiencing an array of issues such as ADHD, anxiety and depression.

Candice is a native Mobilian who received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Alabama. She has had the pleasure of serving on the Alabama Board of Examiner’s in Psychology since February of 2022.

Candice is passionate about helping to provide opportunities for growth and learning in all areas of development. By utilizing a variety of behavioral management techniques, critical thinking, problem solving, and social skills training, her desire is to build self-concepts and nurture the individual as a whole.
